Owl Creek Hill Road hike, part 3

Owl Creek Hill Road ends at the top of its ascent, but it used to continue to WY-120 which heads northwest to Meeteetse and Cody. The photograph below shows where the pavement was dug up to make this a dead end road.

Here is what is left of the fence which used to parallel the road.



Wyoming is the land of wide open spaces. Maybe this has something to do with the abandoned junk (below).

On the north side of the old road, a rancher has set up a cross on an electric utility pole. The Christmas lights make it glow in the night during the Holiday Season.




Looking back up the road (below) is the communication tower hill on the right.
